Q: What inspired you to start DJ Works Fiji?
A: It all started with a love for music and seeing how powerful it is in bringing people together. Over time, I realised it’s not just about playing great tracks — it’s about creating an entire experience. That’s where DJ Works Fiji came from.
Q: What makes DJ Works Fiji unique?
A: We offer “the works.” It’s not just DJing — it’s MCs, dancefloors, cold sparks, fireworks, lighting… everything working together seamlessly. We focus on the full atmosphere, not just the music.
Q: What do you enjoy most about what you do?
A: Seeing people genuinely enjoy themselves — packed dancefloors, big reactions, those once-in-a-lifetime moments. Being part of that energy is what makes it all worth it.
Q: What type of events do you love working on?
A: Weddings are always special — there’s so much emotion and meaning behind them. But I also enjoy corporate events and big celebrations where we can really elevate the experience.
Q: How do you create the right vibe for each event?
A: It’s all about understanding the client first — their style, their crowd, and what they want the night to feel like. From there, we build the music, lighting, and effects around that vision.
Q: What’s been a standout moment for you?
A: There are a lot, but the best moments are when everything just clicks — the music, the crowd, the energy — and you can feel that the night is unforgettable for everyone there.
Q: What advice would you give to clients booking entertainment?
A: Don’t just look for a DJ — look for a team that can deliver the full experience. Entertainment really sets the tone for the entire event.
Q: What’s next for DJ Works Fiji?
A: We’re always looking to grow — bringing in new effects, upgrading our setups, and continuing to raise the bar for events here in Fiji.

Q: What is your role at DJ Works Fiji?
A: I’m the first point of contact for clients and manage all communication. I also keep the admin and logistics running smoothly and make sure the team, clients, and suppliers stay connected.
Q: How do you ensure every client feels taken care of?
A: I personally respond to every enquiry, listen to their needs, and stay on top of all the details. I like to go above and beyond to make sure their vision comes to life seamlessly.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your role?
A: Being the link between clients, team, and suppliers. Seeing everything come together on the day is the best part, and I’m so proud of our team and the energy they bring.
Q: How do you manage the day-to-day operations?
A: Organization and flexibility are key. I jump in wherever needed — coordinating logistics, schedules, or even helping out at events. Being a mother has definitely helped me juggle multiple things at once.
Q: What skills are most important for your role?
A: Staying calm under pressure, being detail-focused, approachable, and multiskilled. I need to be able to handle multiple responsibilities and jump straight into events when needed.
Q: What advice would you give to someone planning an event?
A: Communicate clearly and work with a team you trust. The right team makes the process smooth and stress-free.
Q: What’s your favorite part of working at DJ Works Fiji?
A: Seeing our team in action and knowing we created an unforgettable experience. I’m so proud of what we achieve together.
